The KBox is a project GekkoScience has been working toward for quite some time. It is:

A Fully standalone miner with integrated power supply – no bricks, no cables

Specifications:
Up to 23TH from 330W at the wall,
Built-in 93% efficient Meanwell PSU, 120/240VAC input with on/off switch
Down to 13J/TH efficiency possible with tuning
Dimensions 11x15x25 cm (4x6x10 inches)
Fully enclosed steel and aluminum case, no exposed electronics or plastic stands
Ethernet and 2.4GHz/5GHz wifi

Easy web configuration with lots of chart and settings options
Built in stats screen displays hashrate, user-selected properties (power, heat, pool data etc)
User-controllable RGB LEDs with adjustable colors and multiple modes including:
–  Embers
–  Woodstove
–  Color-match your local weather
–  Rainbow
–  Breathe
Remote control to change RGB program, power mode etc
Tuning controls: adjust for hashrate, efficiency, and heat output

Safety Features:
Active fan monitoring: if either fan stops, hashing stops to avoid overheat
Double fuse protection: Independent fuses on mains power supply AND hashboard DC bus
Internal overheat protection
–  Software limits on ASIC temperature
–  hardware limits on main voltage regulator temperature
7mm hexagonal grid faceplate prevents small fingers without restricting airflow

Options:

The Standard Edition will feature a normal branded wrap or paint job

For the Limited Edition, we are working with a professional painter to design and individually hand-paint each case with a Bitcoin themed black-and-gold motif.
Only 21 Limited Edition units will be created, limit 1 per customer. If you order more than 1, additional units will be converted to Standard and the difference in price refunded.

Standard Unit preorders to begin shipping Monday July 6

A date of June 15 was originally expected, but case materials were delayed from the metal shop. We used the extra time to make electronics improvements, software improvements and more skin/wrap designs.

Due to the individual crafting of the Limited Edition housings, units will be shipped as the artwork is completed, in the order that sales were received (first paid, first out).
